Hey there, I’m Michelle – the coder, learner, and writer behind The Coders Catnip blog.
I grew up fueled by curiosity in Colorado, where my passion for psychology, programming, and more first blossomed. While the human mind continues to intrigue me, these days I’m fully drawn to the world of code.
Python is my favorite language, especially for data science and machine learning applications. But I love exploring other programming languages too, like Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I first started tinkering with code in high school programming classes. After some educational detours, I rediscovered my love for coding through brilliant online resources and courses, like Coursera, DataCamp, and more.
On The Coder’s Catnip, I share my notes, important keywords, coding snippets, and insights that have accelerated my journey from coding novice to aspiring developer. My goal is to provide motivation, and bite-size learning nuggets for others on this rewarding path. I want to provide insightful information, resources, or news I run into as I follow this learning path.
Aside from blogging and writing code, I enjoy reading books, playing strategy games, and snuggling my cats. But coding’s call is never far!
